Leadership Team

PRESIDENT

Nan grew up in South Jersey. She became a believer when she was 20 years old. After graduating from the University of Maryland she worked for Campus Crusade for Christ, American Cancer Society, her church, Vision New England, and a private Christian school using her skills as an administrator, speaker, and conference coordinator. She has been married to Mike since 1980 and has three married sons. For over 15 years Nan has taught high school history at an alternative high school. She coordinates the Women’s Ministries at Plumtree Church in Springfield, MA.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY

Margaret married Ray in 1988. They have two adult daughters. They came to the Covenant Church when Margaret’s daughters were in their teens. She is a member of Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin, Connecticut. Margaret loves to bake, especially cookies, which her husband loves to share with everyone he comes into contact. She has been active in Bible Study Fellowship for 40 years. Margaret’s current role in BSF is as a Children’s Leader for elementary-aged students. She has also been working at the elementary school in her town for 20 years. Margare worked as an Instructional Para Educator for a second-grade classroom.

RETREAT COORDINATOR

Kathy grew up in Connecticut. She has attended Trinity Covenant Church in Manchester, CT for over 30 years, where she has had the pleasure of serving in various capacities, including playing flute in the Christmas Cantata for over 25 years, editing the newsletter, serving on the leadership team, and caring for children in the nursery and in Momco. She has two grown sons (one married) and a wonderful granddaughter. She retired in the summer of 2024 after a career with an investment management company. Earlier, she worked for NavPress in Colorado for four years. Since retiring, she has found many activities to keep her busy, her favorites being gardening, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with women in her church.

TREASURER

Susan grew up in Meriden, CT. Her faith was kindled when she participated in Godspell while living in Germany. She moved from teaching middle school to nursing.  Susan got her Bachelor’s in Science at John Hopkins and her Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing at Boston College.  Susan retired in November 2025.  She has been a member of the Covenant Congregational Church in North Easton for over 30 years. Susan has loved directing VBS for 10 years and helped with the youth groups her children were in from first grade through high school.  She has served on the Pastoral Relations Committee for over 10 years. Currently, Susan is a Stephen Minister, sings in the choir, and has joined the Fellowship Club. Susan is interested in being a mentor for the School on Wheels Bridge program. She is married to David. They have two married children and a granddaughter.

GRAPHICS COORDINATOR

Jen resides in Manchester, CT, where she is a member of Trinity Covenant Church. She is active in the technology and security teams at the church. Professionally, Jen has been in the technology field for over 25 years and specializes in cybersecurity and risk. She enjoys spending time with her extended family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, the outdoors, and building friendships.
